Last night (or more precisely this morning), I went to bed a little after 6am planning on getting a full night (or morning) of rest, but I was awoken at 10 by the sound of construction outside my back door.  It was impossible to go back to sleep.  So I got up and fiddle around for several hours.  I have managed to order a few cds from Interpunk today.  I purchased The Falcon - God Don't Make No Trash -Or- Up Your Ass with Broken Glass and two Face Tomorrow cds (For Who You Are and The Closer You Get).  Face Tomorrow is an awesome band out of Holland.  I had previously thought that it was going to be difficult to find this cd over here, as I never thought Interpunk would carry it.
Last night I decided to start writing my rough draft for my Apologetics paper.  I decided that I would start the paper off by telling a story about a person who "seems" to have unjustly been condemned to hell, if the Christian Exclusivist's story is true.  I got this idea from a couple of books that I have recently read, Gulley and Mullholand's If Grace is True and Fischer's Moral Responsibility, both books start with stories to test the readers intuitions.  Gulley and Mulholland use these kinds of cases as the basis for overthrowing centuries of orthodoxy.  I intend to use my story in a similiar manner to built a case for inclusivist universalism.
I recently purchased an invaluable book entitled Show Them No Mercy in which I have found a way to affirm the infallibility of scripture through a sort of discontinuity thesis.  And built that into the typical "God is love" argument, plus all the other stuff involved.  I have found myself unsatisfied by much of the argument that I have read in favor of inclusivist universalism.  There are still a couple of books that I want to get my hands on though.  As of now I am having to create my own argument for it and keep from building the proverbial straw man, which is annoying at times.  I will stop with this now.  After I have completed my argument for inclusivist unversalism I may post it here for all to read.
One last note John Wesley is an idiot.

Why One Way?

Sleep is evading me.  I don't understand why.  I need to sleep but I can't.  At least I can read some.
Today I picked up John MacArthur's Why One Way, which I will continue reading after I post.  I am not a fan of MacArthur's work in general, as I don't agree with his positions on several issues.  But the book is very small and I am curious as to how he develops his argument against incluvism/pluralism.

Today I went to Greenville where I purchased cigars, a cd (see above) and a book.  The cd is awesome, and I encourage all to check it out.  I bought Frankfurt's On Bullshit, which I read tonight (it is a very small book).  It was pretty good and leaves me with some things to think about.  I will need to read it again before I will make any critical remarks as to what Frankfurt says.

I tried to find a book on BSD today while I was at Barnes and Noble and Books-a-million but was unsuccessful.  However, I have found some interesting comparisons online.  I will hold off my post for now til I feel more comfortable with everything that I am reading, as I am not the most knowledge person on all this stuff, especially the inner workings of FreeBSD, as I have just started looking into it.  Here is a comparison that I have found online that I have valuable in my research.  Though it doesn't tell me everything I want to know, it does provide a very accessible comparison of OS's.
Edit- I had to add this once I saw it

Well, my tournament bracket is fucked to hell.  I had Boston College winning it all, and well they lost today.  I also had Syracuse in the Final Four and they lost in the first round.  Oh well.
I will put up something substantive up here soon.  I will hopefully posting an open source vs. closed source (particularly microsoft) post in the next week.  I am still doing a little reading on FreeBSD, because I haven't looked at in depth in the past.  I am however becoming intriqued by it these days.

Today was test 1 of 4, which went ok.  Tomorrow will be 2 and 3, Friday will be the last one.  After the test, Mark, Rob, Becca, Jeremy and myself went to Greenwood to run some errads.  The first place we went was the ABC Packaging store (aka the liquor store).  I had about a shot of Johnnie Walker left so I wanted to purchase some more scotch.  Therfore I bought some Chivas Regal 12.  After picking this out I looked in the burbon section for something else.  Some randomn guy told me to get "old forester", he said it was great.  Of course I didn't believe him.  He said, "If I'm lying, I'm dying."  Then he said, If I thought it was bad, then I could call his office and he would refund my money.  This seemed like an empty offer, so Jeremy asked him what his number was, and he gave it to us.  After this I decided to buy this bottle of "old Forester".  After running the rest of errands we came back to Due West to eat dinner.  After dinner Rob, Mark, and I had about a half shot each of the burbon.  It was a little strong at first, but had a nice after-taste.  I am satisfied enough that I will not call the guy and ask for my money back.  But I thought that I would mention the story, because I thought it was amusing.
